Baumarkt – Wald Welt Wiesenfeld (Kellerduell, Latenz Records, Rö13 Records, 2023)

The band Baumarkt, often referred to as electro-punk, moves skillfully between styles and even has moments of pop. The song Wald Welt Wiesenfeld comes from the album Kellerduell. This is the duo's second studio album. The two albums are surrounded by more than ten bonus albums, some of which are quite strange. The lyrics of Wald Welt Wiesenfeld live from the sound of the word and are in the tradition of Dadaism. That doesn't mean that they don't make sense.

The band Baumarkt is often compared to the industrial city of Chemnitz. Love at second sight for people who don't want to have a catchy tune after just three notes or who don't need the same old hits over and over again. They build their audience live and on record.
